Council Opens 2010 Tour Registration

Registration is now open for the 2010 Motorcycle Grand Tour of Virginia, sponsored by the Council, The Virginia Tourism Corporation, the Virginia Motorcycle Dealer's Association, and the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association.

The tour offers participants a unique opportunity to explore all parts of the Commonwealth as they collect endorsements in a specially-designed tour passport. Point totals are assigned to each stamp, qualifying participants for prizes based on the total points they collect.

The tour officially opens April 10, 2010 at the Roanoke Bikefest and concludes at the end of October. Cost to register for the tour is $25 and includes a tour passport and t-shirt. For more information or to register, visit www.vamotorcycletour.com

March 2010 Council Meeting

The next meeting of the Governor's Motorcycle Advisory Council will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Room 702 of the Virginia DMV headquarters on West Broad Street. The meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
