    Located off exit 14, on I-77 the Blue Ridge Plateau Visitor Center serves the counties of Carroll, Grayson, Floyd, Patrick and the city of Galax. The Visitor Center is used as a starting point for wonderful rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Crooked Road (US 58) and many other scenic back road trips. There are different routes from Squirrel Spur Road that you can take, and the scenery on each route is nothing but beautiful. Visitors can also choose from a number of outdoor attractions including the Blue Ridge Parkway, Philpott Lake, Kibler Valley, Fairy Stone State Park, Fairy Stone Farms Wildlife Management Area and Fred Clifton Park / Lovers Leap Overlook.
