    Come for a day, a weekend, a week. Ashwood Hill Cottage is a fully furnished home, with two bedrooms, two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with digital satellite television, VCR, DVD, and stereo, and a wood-burning Vermont Castings fireplace/stove. Located in Virginia's beautiful the Shenandoah Valley valley near Historic Lexington. Onsite covered parking for bikes is available. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized wrought iron bed, and features an en-suite bathroom. Exquisitely decorated with antique pieces, ceiling fan, and all natural fabrics, including 310 count bed linens and a down comforter for chilly nights. You'll want to take it home with you! A second bedroom, with its log walls, is equipped with twin beds which may be joined into a king-sized bed, a particularly nice way for two couples to enjoy the cottage. Like the master bedroom, natural linens and a ceiling fan are featured. A second bathroom is available for the occupants of this room. The spacious grounds include seven acres of grassy meadows with hardwoods and pines, with over 30 acres of adjoining woodlands. Fully a third of a mile from the country lane which brings you to Ashwood Hill, the long entrance road ensures your total privacy. A firepit with bench seating, a picnic bench and a gas barbecue grill are located behind the cottage. The cottage is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, minutes from Goshen Pass, a spectacular rocky gorge with bathing, tubing, kayaking and hiking, via Rt. 39, one of the best bike rides in Virginia. Ashwood Hill Cottage is located approximately midway between Lexington and Staunton Virginia.
