Day 8 – Robe to Halls Gap

First stop after leaving Robe was a visit to the extensive limestone caves near Naracoorte. Went into the first cave for a look around, then went over to the kiosk for a coffee and a chicken wrap.

The temperature was starting to rise, so a few of us made the decision to keep going. We decided to ‘crack on’ to use one of Billy’s favourite sayings.

As we approached Hall’s Gap, started to ride through the beautiful Grampian Mountains. Stunning views from the various lookouts.

We were joined by Chris Vermeulen during the evening. Chris would accompany us for the rest of the ride into Melbourne.
